"We were recommended Mike by a friend, and back in 2024, he finished a single-storey rear and side extension for us. Right from first contact, he came over quickly for an initial sit-down. He’s incredibly friendly and obviously knows his trade inside out. We discussed dates at that first meeting, and the itemised quote that followed was detailed, straightforward, and really easy to read.Just before starting work, he sent over all the terms and conditions and insurance documents, which was really encouraging and gave us a lot of confidence. Mike then started dead on the agreed date. It was clear from day one how organised he is, and the team of guys he has working for him are incredibly hard-working. Deliveries were turning up daily, which just showed the project management going on behind the scenes.I actually ended up staying in Wales for a few months during the build, and Mike managed the whole thing perfectly without me even being at the property. "Mike and his team to carried out a two storey extension and new roof including kitchen, two bathrooms and downstairs toilet for us. The team worked hard with good progress throughout and produced a quality turnkey job. We then further asked Mike to build a 1.5 storey garage and landscape our garden. There were the usual complications and design changes but Mike had great patience and dealt with them professionally. Mike is our first point of call for any construction needs and we would always recommend him. He has carried out work for several people we know and has an excellent reputation."

"We recently had our kitchen and utility room refitted by MG Webber and couldn't be happier with the results.

A special mention has to go to Craig, who was excellent throughout the entire project. He was friendly, professional, highly skilled, and always happy to discuss ideas and solutions. His attention to detail and workmanship were outstanding.

The project included fitting in the kitchen, replacement all cabinets, oven and hob, new tiling, and under-cabinet lighting. Craig also reused our existing wooden worktops, which look fantastic and saved unnecessary waste and me money! In the utility room, he fitted new worktops, repositioned the sink, stacked our white goods running new plumbing and completed all associated tiling.

Throughout the work, everything was kept clean and tidy, disruption was kept to a minimum, and the whole job was completed on time and within budget. The process was completely hassle-free from start to finish, with excellent communication and a genuinely friendly approach.

We are absolutely delighted with the finished result. This is the second project Mike has completed for us, and once again he has exceeded our expectations. The quality of workmanship, attention to detail, reliability, and friendly approach were outstanding throughout. "I think there is always a sense of apprehension when needing to have building work carried out. Especially when you haven’t used a builder before and when the project is sizeable, both relevant in our case. Mike at M G Webber building and construction was one of the first to respond when we contacted companies for quotes. After receiving all of our quotes, we knew that Mike was who we wanted to go with. Price is obviously important but our gut instincts proved to be right too! Over a 6 month period from August to January, our house was transformed into a home. Mike and his team worked tirelessly on what was a huge project, they were punctual and on site every day to get the job done. Along the way there were amendments that needed to be made, these were always communicated and costs discussed in advance. We had reached where we had to make a difficult decision; do we move or improve? We loved were we lived but just needed more space The thought of having builders in our home and dealing with the disruption was quite daunting, especially as we have children. We were recommended Mike Webber by a friend and we were so glad we choose him. Mike took the time to come and meet us personally, talk through the project, and answer all our questions. He listened to our ideas and questions and explained everything clearly. He straight away put us at our easy and we knew we were in the hands of a very experienced builder. His quote was detailed and transparent and he stuck to it, so there were no hidden costs or extras along the way. It was very important to us to have a builder/project manager that would be present and onsite and Mike was there every day working alongside his team.

As we continued living in the house throughout the build, communication was really important. Mike always kept us updated on progress and what was happening next. His team were incredibly polite, respectful and considerate, and honestly, it was a pleasure having them around. They arrived early each day, worked hard, and the speed at which the project progressed was impressive. That being said the quality of the build was brilliant, Mike and his team clearly take great pride in their workmanship and are very skilled at their trade. They were brilliant at chatting things through with us and making sure we were involved in any decisions that needed to be made. Mike even went the extra mile (quite literally) driving a long distance early one morning to go and collect some roof tiles so we had an exact match to our existing tiles. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he wanted to make sure we were happy.We are delighted with the end result, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike and team. We now have a wonderful extension to our home that we can all enjoy.

"Excellent! I gave him a 'doodle' of the garden renovation I wanted and did a rough scale drawing for him to follow. He built us an amazing outdoor area consisting of lit up decking for a hot tub, a cobbled seating area and a fire pit and BBQ area! He and his team completed it exactly to what I had in mind. They arrived at 7.30am and stayed on until past 5.00pm every day. He didn't need to ask us any questions to complete the job and did it very fast and to an excellent standard. There were no nasty surprises in the bill and it was all clear from the get go. The guys were punctual, very tidy and extremely good at what they do! Recommend!!!!"
